Putin does better job than Stalin scaring Russians – Gluzman
(Zik) --- The Kremlin has tapped well the potential of television to scare Russians and create the image of the enemy, in fact, the same way Stalin and Hitler had done, president of the Association of Psychiatrists of Ukraine and former dissident Semen Gluzman says.
“What the Nazis had done and what Stalin had done is now being done by Putin – but more expertly using television and the Internet, Gluzman told Radio Svoboda March 5.
Scared people cannot think critically. Therefore, they believe everything they are told. The only way to deal with this is to tell the truth, he said.
Trust develops and scare is gone when you are told the truth, no matter how bitter it can be, the scientist said
“If the number of Ukrainian casualties in Debaltseve is high, why should the information be classified? We must know the names of our patriots to honour them and help their families.
When we hear untrue declarations of general staff spokesmen, we stop believing them – and it is a very serious problem,” Semen Gluzman says.
