Russian occupation force in Crimea force’s ATR off the air

    The only Tatar TV station in Crimea was forced to cease operation at midnight local time (2 PM PDT). Commencing April 1 all stations in the Crimea must have Russian issued licences and they have refused to grant a licence to the Tatars.
   Its not clear whether they went off the air voluntarily but I'm sure they did knowing full well Russian thugs were probably waiting outside to shut them down.

   This is part of their ongoing persecution of the Tatars.

   Russia’s end game is to ethnically cleanse all non-Russian groups from the Crimea.
