Fighting in progress
in Shyrokyne near Mariupol for an hour. Terrorists' attacks repelled - Azov
(Censor.NET) --- For more than an hour,
a fighting is underway in the village
of Shyrokyne .
This was reported
by Censor.NET citing Azov regiment's post on their Facebook page.
"The
terrorists are shelling the Ukrainian soldiers' positions with automatic
grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. An 88-mm mortar is firing at
Ukrainian positions. The terrorists are being repelled. There is no data about
casualties at the moment," the message reads.

(Interfax) --- The Ukrainian National
Security and Defense Council (NSDC) and the Defense Ministry of the Czech Republic
have agreed to work on joint projects manufacturing aircraft and military
vehicles.
According to the
NSDC website, the First Deputy Defense Council Secretary Oleh Hladkivsky and a
Czech delegation led by the Czech Deputy Defense Minister Daniel Koshtoval
agreed to cooperate in joint projects on aircraft and military vehicles.
The parties also
expressed their interest in increasing military and technical cooperation
between the two countries. The significant defense industry potential of both
countries was discussed, and the possibility of cooperation in aircraft
engineering and land based military equipment.
The Ukrainian side
underlined the importance of the visa-free regime between Ukraine and EU
that must be implemented as soon as possible to improve cooperation between the
two countries in science, education and the economy.
The meeting was
organized within the framework of the Ukrainian-Czech forum on defense
cooperation.

Wednesday, March 25, Donbas rebels banned the OSCE mission monitors to visit
Perevalsk, Luhansk oblast, Ukraine
army spokesman said.
“Although the visit
had been agreed with a higher rebel commander, the field CO of Cossacks refused
entry and demanded that the monitors quit,” the spokesman said.
In another
accident, the rebels near Stanytsya Luhanska levelled their guns at the OSCE
car, forcing it to move away.
The rebels deny
access to OSCE because they are hiding the heavy artillery and tanks they
should have withdrawn from the touchline under the Minsk agreements, the spokesman said.

One Ukrainian soldier
wounded in Donbas conflict zone in past 24
hours
Spokesman for the
anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine Andriy Lysenko said this at a
briefing in Kiev
on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"During the
last day, no Ukrainian servicemen have been killed, but one soldier has been
injured as a result of military clashes," Lysenko said.

(Interfax) --- The Ukrainian State
Border Service will speed up the construction of a security line along the
Russian border, including Crimea , in April to
fulfill Project Stina (Wall).
"An active
phase of engineering works on the border will resume in early April. In all,
the project will take three years," service spokesman Oleh Slobodian said
at a press briefing in Kiev on Thursday.
Engineering plans
for every unit protecting the Ukrainian-Russian border have been drawn up and
presented to a research institute which will submit them for the government's
consideration, he said.
"The first UAH
10 million were transferred to the State Border Service administration this
week consistent with the project estimate. So, we will be able to resume the
active phase of engineering works on the border in early April," he said.
First of all, the
works will be done in the areas controlled by Kiev and protected by the Luhansk
and Kharkiv border units, Slobodian continued.
He also reported an
ongoing inspection of security and defense of the Donbas
contact line by State Border Service chief Viktor Nazarenko.
"A group of
officers of the State Border Service administration led by Service chief Lt.
Gen. Viktor Nazarenko has been working to implement security tasks set for the
contact line by the president," he said.
The group is
checking security and defense systems deployed along the contact line,
checkpoints, e-check systems, collabouration between departments, and some
other issues.

Civilian killed by
terrorists shelling in Shyrokyne - Interior Ministry
(Censor.NET) --- A civilian was killed
by terrorists' shelling of the village
of Shyrokyne near
Mariupol.
This was announced
by the Mariupol police department press service, Censor.NET reports.
"The man was
transported from Shyrokyne village to the Mariupol morgue by the Red Cross
employees. Preliminary cause of his death is a missile wound. The notice of his
death was received by the Mariupol police at 10 a.m. The man was a local
resident, aged 40-45," the message reads.

Militant commander
“Gypsy” killed in Donetsk
shooting
(Censor.NET) --- Another high-profile
murder took place in Donetsk
in the late evening of March 26. "DPR lawmaker", field commander of
the Mirazh (Mirage) battalion Roman Voznik (call-sign Tsygan/Gypsy) was shot in
his car.
This was stated by
one of the terrorist leaders, "acting foreign minister of the DPR"
Alexander Kofman on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.
"I was at a
meeting, half an hour after a TV show, when I got a call that the car in which
he (Voznik - ed.) was traveling with his wife, son and two guards was shot at
from a blue Chevy Lacetti at the crossroad of Cheliuskintsiv and Vatutina
streets. Roman and Grek (bodyguard) died, thank God, Nastia (wife) and the son
were not injured..." he wrote.
Voznik's car was
shot out at the intersection of Cheliuskintsiv and Vatutina streets. His
bodyguard was also killed. The killers fled the scene.
Before the war
Roman Voznik served in the Berkut riot police unit. In March he joined the
separatists. He participated in the riots and unrest in Donetsk .
