Crimean authorities
deny medical treatment to those who refuse to apply for Russian citizenship
(Zik) --- The authorities introduced
mandatory medical insurance to Russian subjects. As 12% of Crimean residents
refused to apply for the Russian citizenship, they are denied medical
treatment, Crimean field mission on human rights says, according to
Krym.Realiji.
Those without a
medical insurance can get only urgent treatment – only if there is threat to
their lives. They have the option of private clinics with their exorbitant
prices.
This rule confirms
that the Crimean authorities are forcefully converting peninsula residents into
Russian subjects, the field mission says.
