NATO should gain one more member. We have lost 6,000 lives because Western partners were somewhat blind and deaf to Russia - Yatseniuk
(Censor.NET) --- Ukraine should become a member of NATO after implementation of reforms and after holding a referendum.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk stated, Censor.NET informs citing Interfax-Ukraine.
"While we didn't have it in mind a couple of years ago - my current political stance is that we are considering it now. The Ukrainian people should decide on Ukraine's membership in the Alliance by referendum after the implementation of reforms. And the Alliance should be replenished with another member, which will protect freedom and democracy against aggression together with the free world," Yatseniuk said, speaking Wednesday at the Third Kiev Security Forum for Youth dedicated to "the role of the new generation in maintaining peace and security."
He said: "We have lost Crimea and received Russian troops and tanks on the territory of Ukraine. We have lost 6,000 lives due to Russia's and its top officials' imperial ambitions, because Ukraine has not received the status of the Alliance accession country in Bucharest, as well as due to improper world reaction to Russia's attack on Georgia, and because of the fact that our Western partners for over a decade were somewhat blind and deaf to Russia and the billions of dollars that were spent on the Russian defense industry."

Defense Ministry offered 128th brigade decommissioned equipment which is beyond repair in place of that destroyed at Debaltseve, volunteer says.
(Censor.NET) --- The Ministry of Defense proposed the 128th mountain infantry brigade to accept written off equipment to replace the units lost in fighting at the Debaltseve bridgehead. At that, the Ministry suggests that the equipment, which is beyond repair, is to be restored by the brigade’s servicemen.
This was stated by head of the Uzhhorod State Administration board of volunteers, founder of "Revival of Ukraine - Ukraine Renaissance!" civil organization, head of the district committee on assisting mothers, wives and participants of the ATO Vlasta Nehria on her Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.
"Everyone knows that the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade came out of Debaltseve. It suffered losses in men and equipment. Right now it is restoring combat capability. It would seem that they should get and train new soldiers. Get equipment and get back to fighting. But the Ministry of Defense in the person of Kiev Central Vehicle Department Chief (General Major SERHII A.P.) decided to make some money on the brigade. This is the equipment they offer in return for the destroyed units (see images below - ed.).
"At that, they demand the 128-th brigade to restore it themselves (a number of equipment is beyond repair and some can be restored only at repair plants). This equipment is time-expired and shall be written off, rather than restored. Relevant documents for category five (write-offs) have been filed with the Defense Auxiliary Association of Ukraine and signed by the Central Motor-and-Tractor Department (CMTD). But the CMTD issued orders for category four," the volunteer stated and published photos of the equipment to be provided for the 128th brigade.

Russian raiders seize farm of Ukrainian serviceman killed in Donbas
(Zik) --- According to faked documents, ex-US citizen Mark Paslavsky “sold” his agricultural farm to a Crimean - after his death! TCH TV reported March 25.
Mark Paslavsky was killed near Ilovajsk. Unscrupulous thugs faked the documents and seized his farm located in Kaharlyk, Kiev oblast.
Julia Basheva, a state registrar, registered the illegal deal, saying she has no authority to check the validity of the documents submitted to her.
The Justice ministry, however, says the registrar violated the law, promising investigation.
Meanwhile, forensic experts ruled that the signature of Mark Paslavsky had been falsified.
The farm, costing UAH100 mn is now owned by a Crimean resident.
Paslavsky’s friends are trying to recover his farm, pointing the finger at influential Kiev officials who, they claim, are implicated in the swindle.
The legal proceedings may take years, they say. Meanwhile, the new owner is taking away the grain and transferring the revenues to Crimea. The pool of modern agricultural machinery may follow, Mark’s friends warn.
