Terrorists violated
cease-fire 50 times over past 24 hours.
(Censor.NET) --- The situation in the
ATO zone remains tense, but is still controlled by Ukrainian troops.

speaker of the National Security and Defense Council announced today at a
briefing, Censor.NET reports
More than a third of provocations involved weapons which are banned according to the Minsk Agreements, namely the 120-mm mortars and 122-mm cannon artillery.
The militants also fired from tanks three times.
The most intense clashes happened in the following places:
- Shyrokyne and Talakivka villages (Mariupol sector)
-Donetsk
airport area (Pisky and Opytne villages, Avdiivka town, Horlivka outskirts and
Putylivska mine) in the Donetsk
sector
- ATO positions near Triokhizbenka village (Luhansk sector).
The fight between Ukrainian soldiers and the terrorists, who tried to break through the front line to Triokhizbenka village, lasted more than two hours yesterday. The terrorists fired at the Army's positions from small arms, mortars, heavy machine guns and anti-aircraft gun. The enemy was forced to retreat around 12.20 p.m. on April 18.

Two civilians wounded
in yesterday's Triokhizbenka battle.
(Censor.NET) --- Three Ukrainian
soldiers and two civilians were wounded (one of the soldiers severely) in
yesterday's Triokhizbenka battle.
Censor.NET reports
citing the official website of the head of the Luhansk Regional State
Administration Hennadii Moskal.
A couple from Triokhizbenka (aged 63 and 61 year) was injured by shrapnel from a shell, which flew into their neighborhood. The wounds were not severe; emergency medical care was provided on site.
In addition, a shell from an anti-tank missile hit a private house, damaging the roof. At the time the owner, an elderly woman, was at home. She survived miraculously.
However, in the afternoon, at night and in the morning cease-fire was observed again in Triokhizbenka. No attempts to break into the village or fire at ATO forces' positions were reported.
Moskal also reports on the details of Valuiske village (Stanytsia Luhanska area) shelling. The terrorists fired three 122-mm Grad rockets at the village, which is prohibited by the Minsk Agreements. One rocket hit a house, damaging it seriously; another destroyed an annex, while the third one exploded in the garden. During the night, shootouts with automatic weapons periodically occurred in the village, but there were no attacks with heavy weapons.

ATO: Militants attack
Ukrainian army with Grad rockets and mortars, violating Minsk accords
(UNIAN) --- Russian-backed militants
have again violated the terms of the Minsk
agreement, attacking Ukrainian forces overnight with weapons they were supposed
to have withdrawn from the front line, the press center of Ukraine ’s Anti-Terrorist Operation
headquarters said on Sunday.
"In violation
of the Minsk
agreements, the criminals opened fire seven times with 120mm-caliber mortars,
and once with 122mm-caliber artillery,” the press center said in a post on
Facebook.
“After a short
break, the gunmen again resorted to shelling our positions with BM-21 Grad
multiple rocket launchers,” it said.
The press center
said that from 1800 to midnight on Saturday Russian-backed forces in the Donbas violated the ceasefire 21 times.
“In Donetsk region near the village of Pisky
the criminals opened fire in the direction of our fortifications with 120-mm
mortars, as well as from tanks and with machine guns,” the press center said.
In addition, the
report said that in the area Avdiivka illegal armed groups attacked Ukrainian
forces with automatic grenade launchers, sniper weapons and small arms,
infantry fighting vehicles, 120mm mortars and 122mm-caliber artillery. From
1810 to 1833 the militants launched a barrage of 14 Grad rockets in the
direction of Ukrainian positions.
The militants also
directed mortar fire on Ukrainian positions near the villages of Opytnoye,
Talakovka, Maorsk and

OSCE demands security
guarantees from Donbas rebels
(Zik) --- The OSCE monitoring mission
cannot perform its duties in full because the rebels do not give the monitors
security guarantees, Apr. 18 OSCE report says.
Moreover, the
rebels deny access to some areas to OSCE, UNN reports Apr. 18,
OSCE monitors
confirm frequent violations of the ceasefire agreement in Donbas .
The fire resumes as soon as OSCE monitors leave the area, usually at the end of
the day, the report continues.
In the night of
Apr. 18, the OSCE monitors for the first time stayed in Shyrokine for the
night. They had to flee soon due to intense fire.
