Temporary lull was used to beef up anti-tank defenses – Poroshenko
   (Zik) --- Ukraine army used the temporary lull in fighting in Donbas to saturate its troops with anti-tank weaponry, Pres Petro Poroshenko said during a visit to a training field in the Chernihiv oblast today.
   According to our analysts, the president said addressing servicemen, the enemy will use tank columns for offensive inside Ukraine. “Today, we have seen that Ukraine army has state-of-the-art long-range Stuhna systems designed and made in Ukraine,” the incumbent said.
   The president was shown such weapons in operation like Stuhna and Barier anti-tank missiles, high-accuracy mines, and fire control systems.
   There is an agreement with UkrOboronProm weapons manufacturer experts about their stay in Donbas to train the service in the use of these modern weapons, the president said, Interfax-Ukrayina reports May 11.

Terrorists shelled Shyrokyne 30 times in the morning - Donetsk police
   (Censor.NET) --- Terrorists shelled Ukrainian village of Shyrokyne, the Donetsk region, over 30 times on Monday.
   As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by deputy head of the Donetsk regional police Illia Kyva on air of 112 TV channel.
   "In the morning, our positions were shelled for more than 30 times. This is only Shyrokyne direction. The village and our positions have been shelled since early morning from various weapons banned by the Minsk agreement," Kyva stressed.
   Kyva also noted that the Ukrainian positions in Shyrokyne were shelled with self-propelled guns for more than nine times. The enemy also used a tank to fire at the ATO forces.

Donbas separatists fire from heavy artillery all night
   (Zik) --- Illegal military formations of the Donbas rebels and Russian troops have again used heavy artillery banned by the Minsk agreements to shell Ukraine army positions, the army May 11 press center report on Facebook says.
   The enemy shelled Pisky and the Butovka mine using 120-mm mortars.
   Near Luhansk, the enemy shelled Shchastya and Krymske, UNIAN reports.
   “A temporary ceasefire near Artemivsk ended when Leninske and Majorske were shelled from 120-mm mortars,” the army reports.
   The enemy used anti-tank missiles and large-caliber machine guns near Lozove.
   The enemy used drones extensively over Shyrokina, Mariupol, Volodarske, Orlovske and other areas.

Terrorists resumed shelling of Ukrainian positions near Mariupol in the morning - Sector M press officer
   (Censor.NET) --- At 5 a.m., after a relatively quiet the terrorists began firing at the positions of the Ukrainian army near Mariupol.
   This was stated by press-secretary of sector M headquarters of the anti-terrorist operation Dmytro Horbunov, Censor.NET reports citing Channel 5.
   According to the report, yesterday the criminals fired at Ukrainian soldiers near Shyrokyne 15 times, near Chermalyk two times and once near the village of Pyshchevyk. Thus, yesterday, two soldiers of the Azov regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine were lightly wounded. They are currently in a hospital in the city of Mariupol.
   The ATO headquarters also reported that at about 5 a.m. the militants using small arms, machine guns, and grenade launchers, shelled the positions of the Ukrainian troops near residential areas of the Chermalyk village. It is reported that no soldiers were wounded as the result of the fire.
   In addition, several aircraft were observed near Shyrokyne, Talakivka, Mariupol and Lebedynske.

No one killed, five soldiers wounded - ATO speaker
   (Censor.NET) --- Five Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in the course of the anti-terrorist operation on May 10.
   This was announced by the Presidential Administration representative on ATO matters Oleksandr Motuzianyk at a briefing, Censor.NET reports.
   "Over the past day, no Ukrainian soldiers were killed in fighting, five were wounded," he said.

Ukrainian Border Guards Sighted Five Drones Flying
   (UTR) --- Ukraine’s State Border Service branches continue to patrol Ukrainian-Russian border and boundary line between the ATO forces and illegal armed groups. This is said in the statement of the State Border Service. 
   During the day the militants continued using drones to carry out aerial reconnaissance. In general, border guards recorded 5 UAVs flying on the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
   At the checkpoint ‘Heorhiyivka’ border guards detected a citizen of Ukraine, the inhabitant of Donetsk region, who had forged entry permit. The detainee was transferred to Interior Ministry for establishing the facts of a crime.
   Along the demarcation line, border patrols have detained 13 vehicles that transported food and vegetables. There were no proper cargo documents. In addition, cars tried to bypass checkpoints on their way. The fiscal authorities were informed of these cases for adopting a legal solution.
