(Censor.NET-19 Jun) --- Russia rejects
the possibility of a dialogue with NATO, which is available, and its
unpredictability is higher than of the Soviet era.
This was stated by
NATO Deputy Secretary General Alexander Vershbow at a GLOBSEC security
conference, Censor.NET reports citing Yevropeiska Pravda.
Vershbow noted that
NATO still has ways and willingness for political dialogue with the Russian Federation
but it does not see any desire to talk from the Russian side.
The Deputy
Secretary General also said that the situation in cooperation with Russia is worse
than it was during the Soviet era in times of Brezhnev, where there were
certain rules of the game, which everyone adhere to. He stated that Russia denies the existence of any such rules,
citing as example Russia 's
denial of its troops being present in Ukraine and its attempts to
convince NATO about it.
