Huge explosion at a chemical goods factory in Donetsk, Ukraine.

   Rumours poured all over the internet yesterday that the Russians had detonated a nuke in Donetsk. All sides have denied the rumours and in fact what looked very much like a nuclear blast was the rebel controlled chemical plant being shelled by the Ukrainian Army.  Luckily the plant was totally vacant at the time of the detonation and the resulting fire, so aside from some frayed nerves nobody was hurt.

   As you can see from the video of the explosion that it does look very much like a nuclear blast.  During this period of heightened tension we must always be very vigilant that the truth wins out over rumours.
