Total aid package to Ukraine shall exceed $40 billion - Poroshenko
   (Censor.NET) --- Ukraine needs international financial assistance in the amount of more than $ 40 billion, President Petro Poroshenko says.
   It is reported by Censor.NET citing ZN.UA.
   "The total package, which is formed to help Ukraine, the financial support, the financial foundation for the reforms, which is a defense for our national currency, for our balance of payments, for our foreign exchange reserves, shall, as of today, exceed $40 billion in total," Poroshenko said at a joint press conference with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven in Kiev.
   On March 10 President Poroshenko signed a number of laws approved by the Verkhovna Rada on March 2, the adoption of which was one of the conditions of IMF extended crediting of Ukraine.
   The IMF Executive Board is to decide on a loan to Ukraine in the amount of 17.5 billion dollars today, March 11.

Russia can deploy nuclear weapons in Crimea – Russian official
   (Zik) --- Speaking to journalists in Moscow March 11, foreign ministry official and head of FM department for non-proliferation of nuclear weapons Mikhail Ulyanov said Moscow can deploy nuclear weapons in Crimea, UNIAN reports March 11.
   Crimea is part of Russia and we have the right to position nuclear weapons there if we find it necessary, Ulyanov said.
   He said he does not know whether there are nuclear weapons on the peninsula now.

Sweden offers Ukraine $100 million bilateral loan
   STOCKHOLM (Reuters) --- Sweden has offered Ukraine a bilateral loan of $100 million to help shore up its finances, the Swedish government said on Wednesday.
   Sweden's Prime Minister Stefan Lofven is in Kiev to discuss and sign two cooperation agreements with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk.
   "Ukraine is in a very vulnerable situation. The Russian aggression in the East and the infighting going on for the past year has added to an already difficult economic crisis," Sweden's government said in a press release.
   "This loan, together with our political support ... helps to strengthen Ukraine."
   Sweden is hopeful the loan can be paid at the beginning of 2016.
   The Swedish government has also renewed a previous agreement with Ukraine to give 220 million Swedish crowns ($26 million) per year to 2020 in aid.
   Sweden has previously offered similar loans to Ireland Iceland and Latvia.

Ukrainian army prepares for attack from the sea at Mariupol. ATO HQ says seaborne assault will not be allowed
   (Censor.NET) --- Fortifications are being erected at the two sites suitable for amphibious assault.
   Two positions suitable for amphibious assault have been identified on the coast near Mariupol, the Donetsk region. Reconnaissance operations are being carried out with corresponding military experts working at the spots.
   This was stated by deputy head of the ATO HQ in sector M, Lieutenant Colonel Oleksandr Sinko, Censor.NET reports citing LigaBusinessInform.
   "Fortifications are currently being erected in these areas. We will not allow any seaborne assault," Sinko said.
   According to him, the militants have not opened fire near Mariupol, particularly, in the direction of Shyrokyne, since this morning. The Ukrainian forces also observe the silence mode. Yesterday the silence mode had been violated by the DPR terrorists. Snipers had been sweeping the positions of the Ukrainian military; other types of small arms as well as mortars had been used.

Crimean authorities deny medical treatment to those who refuse to apply for Russian citizenship
   (Zik) --- The authorities introduced mandatory medical insurance to Russian subjects. As 12% of Crimean residents refused to apply for the Russian citizenship, they are denied medical treatment, Crimean field mission on human rights says, according to Krym.Realiji.
   Those without a medical insurance can get only urgent treatment – only if there is threat to their lives. They have the option of private clinics with their exorbitant prices.
   This rule confirms that the Crimean authorities are forcefully converting peninsula residents into Russian subjects, the field mission says.

Russian terrorists shelled Ukrainian army for 38 times over the past 24 hours - Joint Staff
   (Censor.NET) --- The situation is the most tense in the Donetsk direction.
   The terrorists shelled Ukrainian soldiers in the ATO area for 38 times yesterday, but no use of artillery was noted. This was announced by the acting speaker of the Joint Staff Vladyslav Selezniov at a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing LigaBusinessInform.
   "It is worth noting that the terrorists did not use artillery for shelling Ukrainian positions over the past 24 hours," Selezniov said. According to him, the situation is the most tense in the Donetsk direction - 24 cases of the cease-fire violation have been recorded in the area.
   "The terrorists have shelled our positions near Avdiivka, Opytne, Pisky, Nevelska, and Dutivska mine. They mostly used automatic grenade launchers, machine guns, small arms, and mortars," Selezniov informed.
   South of Donetsk, near Hranitne village, the terrorists shelled Ukrainian positions with mortars. At the Artemivsk direction, five cases of cease-fire violation have been noted, Selezniov said. The terrorists shelled Lozove with small arms, Maiorske with small arms and by a sniper, and Novhorodske with an automatic grenade launcher.
   The south of the anti-terrorist operation area was not calm as well. Six cases of the terrorists' shelling of Ukrainian positions were noted near Shyrokyne and Chermalyk. Krymske and Sokilnyky, where Ukraine's army strong points are located, were shelled with small arms two times.

One Ukrainian soldier killed, four wounded over the past 24 hours - Joint Staff
   (Censor.NET) --- One Ukrainian soldier was killed and four were wounded in the Donbas on Tuesday.
   This was announced by the acting speaker of the Joint Staff Vladyslav Selezniov, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.
   "One Ukrainian soldier was killed, four more were wounded in the course of the anti-terrorist operation on March 10," Selezniov said.
   According to him, those wounded have been admitted into hospitals for treatment. As of today, 408 soldiers are being treated in medical care.
